Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission)
Launched: 2014
Objective: Eliminate open defecation, improve solid waste management.
Achievements: Over 10 crore toilets built; rural sanitation coverage increased.
Your role: Keep your surroundings clean, use toilets, discourage littering.
Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (Save Girl Child, Educate Girl Child)
Launched: 2015
Objective: Address declining child sex ratio and promote girls’ education.
Your role: Celebrate the birth of a girl child, support girls’ education in your community.
POSHAN Abhiyaan (National Nutrition Mission)
Launched: 2018
Objective: Improve nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
Your role: Spread awareness about balanced diet and healthy eating.
National Health Mission
Includes: Janani Suraksha Yojana (maternal health), Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (child health).

Pulse Polio Immunization
India was declared polio-free in 2014.
