Founded in 1995 under the supervision of Swami Jyotirmayananda, Chinmaya Vidyalaya NTPC Unchahar is the 69th branch of the Chinmaya Vidyalayas across India. This esteemed educational institution operates under the guidance of the Delhi Chinmaya Seva Trust and continues to thrive under the spiritual leadership of Swami Avyayananda, Acharya of Chinmaya Mission New Delhi.
As a part of the Chinmaya Education Movement, our Vidyalaya is dedicated to providing students with a holistic education that blends academic excellence with spiritual values. Inspired by the teachings of Swami Chinmayananda, the founder of the Chinmaya Mission, we aim to instill virtues such as discipline, respect, and a sense of purpose in every student.
The school is a beacon of the Chinmaya Mission’s vision, established in 1953 by Swami Chinmayananda, a world-renowned Vedanta teacher. His teachings continue to shape the core philosophy of the Vidyalayas, which emphasize the all-around development of students—mentally, spiritually, and physically.
The Chinmaya Mission has become a global spiritual renaissance movement, with over 300 centers worldwide. It is currently headed by His Holiness Swami Swaroopananda, who continues to expand its reach. The mission’s educational wing, governed by the CCMT (Central Chinmaya Mission Trust) Education Cell, oversees the running of all Chinmaya Vidyalayas across India.
